FINNAIR DAILY TO NEW DELHI

(Warsaw 30.9.2009) Finnair started daily flights to New Delhi on September 25th. Thanks to Helsinki's excellent geographical location on the great circle route, the flight time from Helsinki to Delhi is only 6 hours 30 minutes.

Delhi is the main airline hub in India and offers excellent connections to the rest of the country.

“We fly from Warsaw to Helsinki two to three times a day every day of the week and offer competitive prices on our Warsaw-New Delhi route”, says Juhani Nuoramo, Finnair’s Sales Director for Poland. “The connection to New Delhi via Helsinki is therefore an interesting alternative to many Polish passengers”, he continues.

The Helsinki-Vantaa airport recently opened a new shopping area and a large My City Helsinki restaurant world, including among other a video theatre for the smallest members of the family.

“The opening of a new 1000 m2 Via Lounge and a 600 m2 Via Spa environment at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport in December will further improve the general enjoyment of Finnair passengers connecting from Warsaw to destinations such as Delhi”, Mr. Nuoramo concludes.

Besides New Delhi, Finnair flies daily to Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Bangkok (twice a day) and to Japan, as well as four times a week to Seoul.
