Finnair adds flights to Krakow for summer 2018

(Warsaw 11.12.2017) Finnair will add two more weekly frequencies between Helsinki and Krakow for summer 2018. With the two added frequencies Finnair will fly up to 42 flights a week between Helsinki and Warsaw, Gdansk and Krakow during the summer season.

Finnair will fly daily between Helsinki and Krakow from June 18 to August 8. The two added  frequencies provide a second daily flight on Thursdays and Sundays and will be operated from June 10 to October 25.

"The two additional frequencies improve connectivity from Krakow to our many Asian destinations as well as to Chicago, New York and San Francisco", says Arunas Skuja, Finnair's General Manager for East Europe and Baltic States. "There is a growing interest in Poland from our Asian customers and the two additional frequencies will also bring more capacity for traveling to this popular Polish summer destination."

Finnair has previously announced adding frequencies between Helsinki and Gdansk to double daily and increasing summer season capacity to Warsaw in 2018. The second daily frequency to Gdansk will be operated between April 24 and October 27. To Warsaw Finnair will fly three frequencies on weekdays and two on Saturdays and Sundays from March 26 to October 26.

Summer season frequencies will equally be added from Helsinki to Lisbon, Barcelona, Budapest and Geneva. Finnair will continue with seasonal flights to Astana, with two weekly frequencies in July-August.

Finnair will also add frequencies to its winter 2018/2019 schedules, driven by growing demand from Asia.  For example Reykjavik will get two additional weekly frequencies and over 230 flights will be added to Finnish Lapland, offering more connections to the popular winter destinations of Ivalo, Rovaniemi, Kittilä and Kuusamo.
