Finnair adds Goa, Havana, Puerto Plata and Puerto Vallarta and increases frequencies to Asia in winter 2017

(Warsaw 25.1.2017) Finnair is expanding with new scheduled flights to Goa in India, Havana in Cuba, Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Vallarta in Mexico for the 2017 winter season. In addition, Finnair will be adding extra frequencies to popular winter holiday and business destinations Bangkok, Delhi, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Finnair will fly two weekly flights to the coastal city of Goa in India between November 29 and March 21. The flights will be operated from Helsinki on Wednesdays and Sundays with an A330 aircraft. In addition a weekly frequency will be added to the Delhi route, resulting in six weekly flights to the Indian capital during the winter season.

Between December 1 and March 23 there will be two scheduled weekly Finnair flights to Havana, Cuba. The flights will be operated on Mondays and Fridays with Finnair's new A350 aircraft.

From November 30 to March 22 Finnair will fly a new scheduled weekly flight to Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic. The flight will be operated on Thursdays with an A330 aircraft. To Puerto Vallarta, a popular tourism region on Mexico's Pacific Ocean coast, there will be a new scheduled weekly flight between November 19 and March 18. The flight will be operated on Sundays with an A350 aircraft.

Seasonal capacity to Thailand will be increased by two additional weekly frequencies on the Bangkok route, bringing the total number of weekly flights between Helsinki and Bangkok to 16. The schedule will be adjusted to offer a late evening flight between both cities, giving additional flexibility for travelers. In addition Finnair serves routes to Krabi and Phuket.

The Hong Kong route will see three new weekly frequencies as of the beginning of the winter season, making it a 10-weekly operation around the year, and two more frequencies will be added to Singapore, making it a daily destination year-round.
