“This is Where I'd Rather Be” - Finnair photo contest launched
(Warsaw 13.2.2012) Finnair has launched an online photo competition "This Is Where I'd Rather Be", looking for the best photo representing a Finnair destination. The prize in the ongoing contest is intercontinental flights for two to any Finnair destination, and the dead line for submitting photos is February 29, 2012.
With the help of the competition Finnair is looking for great visual representations of its flight destinations that include Warsaw, Gdansk and Krakow in Poland. Anyone who had a fun holiday at or near a Finnair destination or lives near one can thereby submit a photo to the competition. Keywords are "quality, creativity and freshness."
A public vote at www.facebook.com/finnair will function as a preliminary selection round for the finalists in the contest. The winners will be selected by a jury, with the most popular pictures being reviewed first.
The winner will be awarded an economy-class return trip for two (2) people from a Finnair direct flight destination to any other Finnair direct flight destination, including a connecting flight via Helsinki, if necessary. Finnair's leisure flights are excluded.
Finnair's Sales Director for Poland Juhani Nuoramo encourages active participation. “We hope to see many entries also from Poland, as well as photographs depicting Warsaw, Krakow and Gdansk, making these destinations and the many attractions they provide better known.”
Entries to the contest can be submitted in digital form at http://photocontest.finnair.com/. The number of entries per person is not limited. The deadline for submitting photos is February 29 and the winner will be announced on March 16.
The winning pictures will be exhibited in Finnair planes’ in-flight entertainment systems and other selected forums.
