AMERPLAST INVESTS IN GRODZISK MAZOWIECKI FACTORY

(Grodzisk Mazowiecki 9.6.2015) Amerplast will invest further in its factory in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, in pursuit of its goal of becoming a leading pan-European packaging company. The centerpiece of the ca EUR 3 million investment program is the state of the art MIRAFLEX AM flexographic printing machine that the company has agreed to purchase from Windmöller & Hölscher.

The new versatile high quality MIRAFLEX AM 10-colour printing machine will be installed and operational in October 2015. It will increase the overall capacity of the Grodzisk Mazowiecki factory, enabling the company to meet growing customer demand in an efficient and flexible way.

In addition to further increasing the Polish factory's competitiveness on the European market, the investment will provide important customer benefits.

“We consider the W&H MIRAFLEX to be the best flexographic printing machine currently on the market for our product portfolio. It represents the latest technology in this area, being engineered for outstanding print quality”, says Ari Olkinuora, Factory Manager for Amerplast in Poland. “With the help of the latest technology we will also be able to continue reducing energy consumption and waste in our printing process”, Olkinuora continues.

“Amerplast is committed to quality, service and sustainability the same way as Windmöller & Hölscher is and we are pleased to be a part of the continued growth of its business”, says Torsten Berding, Sales Director of Windmöller & Hölscher, a globally leading provider of machinery and equipment for the production of flexible packaging.
